A Water Corps for western India can be instrumental in remediating traditional water systems and restoring them as critical climate adaptation infrastructure. It is an initiative that engages with youth through an learn-and-earn model by creating teaching tools to amplify climate education at scale. It intends to implement economically viable restoration of traditional water system using nature based solutions. The long-term goal is to restore and create, rainwater harvesting and shallow aquifer recharge structures. Through the power of documentation, digital media, exhibitions, and films we seek to make visible urban waters, while positioning young adults as environmental stewards and water conservation advocates in their communities.
