Designed to be constructed in two phases, the building seamlessly rises out of the contoured terrain, creating terraces ,unique to each classroom. The articulation of the 60,000 sq ft built form compliments the montessori style curriculum of the ‘AIRAA’ chain of schools. Special work environments are designed along with classrooms on the mezzanine, each of which open out onto terraces and into the central atrium. The central corridor filled with natural light and closely linked to the landscape, creates a series of visual connections with generous shared common spaces on all levels of this G+3 storey structure. Compressed & stabilised earth blocks compliment an exposed concrete structure. The facade module is repeated across the structural grid on all floors, and lends a language to the building.
